Edward J. Rapacky III; President

Ed joined Benefit Resource Group in the summer of 1998 having been previously employed in the accounting field. Ed has been with BRG since then and worked his way up to lead the ownership group for BRG.  Most importantly, BRG has been able to remain an employee- owned, independent agency still focused on old-fashioned customer service.  With our combined experience, BRG also remains ahead-of-the-curve as it relates to our ability to think outside the box and remain in the forefront of innovative planning.

Ed graduated from Central Connecticut State University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance, having attended The University of Miami and Avon Old Farms. He also has his State of Connecticut (and 30 other states) Life and Health Licenses and is a Certified Insurance Consultant, having earned his CT State license. He also holds his Property & Casualty, Credit, Travel, and Personal Lines Licenses. Ed also has his Series 65 License to assist all of our clients with Financial/ Retirement Planning and Group Retirement Options. Ed is currently enrolled in the CEBS (Certified Employee Benefit Specialist) degree program. 

His community contributions include 14 years as a coach for local high school football teams. Ed has served a term on the Town of Plainville Town Council, having been elected in November of 2003 and has been a member of The Economic Development Agency.
